“The Body of Christ” – Living As A Family #1
$2.00
Description
The body of Christ is made of people who believe in Jesus, and who are committed to fulfilling God’s will by loving each other. As Christians, we are all members of the same “family,” or “body of Christ,” with God as our father. When one member of the body hurts, we must all run to the rescue of that person and help him/her.
Zelda begins to show the external signs of her internal struggle with her parents, who are always fighting. Pastor Rufus encourages the other characters (Harvey, Tina, and Clem) to help her much like the “white blood cells” aid in the healing of a hurt finger. Zelda can’t stand the fact that Tina and Harvey fight, too. The characters and the children learn to pray for and encourage each other as members of God’s family.
