• Tina’s determination to being a home missionary for God inspires the children to ask God for help in learning how to be a "missionary," and to fulfill "The Great Commission" wherever they are!
  • Caring for the needs of others is at the heart of the missionary life. Tina  tries to "be a missionary" to a girl names Sarah who is hungry and needs shoes. Only after Tina gives Sarah her shoes is Sarah interested in learning more about Jesus. Tina learns that Jesus is our example in feeding the hungry and healing the sick.
  • Jesus befriends Paul. On a church outing to the mountains, Horace, the boy who only comes to fun events, gets hurt and is helped by the characters and Pastor Rufus. Horace expresses an interest in knowing more about Jesus. Horace, like Paul, the Apostle, learns it is never too late to accept God’s love and forgiveness.
  • We are all missionaries. Tina confirms her own commitment to Jesus and asks God for help as she witnesses to Sarah. She is triumphant when she is finally able to share her faith with Sarah. Tina learns the steps involved in leading a person to Christ and she creates "Tina's Tips For Witnessing" that are handed out to every child.
  • Harvey is faced with a problem: what to do to cheer up his friend, Mike, whose grandma just passed away. Pastor Rufus tells Harvey about sharing the good news of Jesus. He challenges Harvey to give Mike a gift that costs more than we can imagine, will cure his loneliness, and give him eternal life to look forward to through the gift of salvation.
  • In this Skit Package, Pastor Rufus gives Harvey, Zelda, Clem, and Tina each a Bible to give to a friend.  Pastor Rufus repeats Jesus’ challenge in the Parable of the Sower to be “farmers” (sowers) and to plant (or share) the seed (the Word of God) with others. Tina, Clem, Zelda and Harvey become examples of the four "soils" of this parable.
